Special skills that units can equip which provide various benefits.
Abilities in Three Hopes
A lot of abilities from Three Houses return in Three Hopes, but their effects have been changed to fit Musou gameplay. This page only shows abilities that are available in the demo, though many other abilities have already been datamined. All abilities will be confirmed and added when the full game comes out.
Three Hopes extends the concept of Three Houses personal abilities into "Unique Abilities". Every unit has 3 unique abilities, split across Action, Support, and Tactical categories. These abilities can only be obtained by these units, and cannot be learned from class mastery.
Non-unique abilities can be obtained via the classing system. Every class has a set of class abilities, which are active as long as a unit is in that class. Each class has 3 mastery levels, an ability may be learned at each level depending on the unit and class. Abilities learned via class mastery are permanent, and can still be equipped even if the unit changes classes.
