Kitchen Master
Cook and eat with your allies.
The Way to a Unit's Heart is Through Their Stomach
The Kitchen Master replaces the monastery Dining Hall, and he can be found in the mess hall within the Recreation Quarter. In Three Houses cooking and eating were two separate activities, but the Kitchen Master combines both into one. Shez can cook a meal with two units, and then eat that meal with the same two units. Cooking and eating costs a total of 1 activity point.
All units involved will gain support with each other, along with a boost to their morale. Instead of gaining stat boosts like in Three Houses, your units will all receive a temporary buff depending on the dish. This buff lasts until the end of the chapter. Multiple buffs can be active at the same time if the player decides to cook multiple times in a single chapter.

Cooking Results
Units will be happier the better you cook.
Rewards by Performance
Like "Cooking Together" in Three Houses, your cooking performance will affect the amount of support gained. It does not seem to affect the buff given from meal effects nor the amount of morale gained, just like how it didn't affect the stat bonuses in Three Houses. This result can be save scummed.

Unit Cooking Proficiency
In Three Houses some units were canonically good cooks, and some were canonically bad. This was shown directly in the UI when choosing who to cook with, and it would change the odds of getting a good result. This does not seem to appear in the Three Hopes demo, so it's either not in the game or hidden from the player. It may also just depend on whether the units chosen like the dish or not.
The following units were good at cooking in Three Houses.
- Bernadetta
- Dedue
- Ashe
- Mercedes
- Manuela
- Gilbert
- Yuri
- Anna
